Can you see the real me?
A quote from legendary rock stars The Who, and the topic of todays BLOG. Our friends, and work neighbours at The Cotton Factory, Mark and Judy, the creatives behind Muse Marketing, are truly passionate people completely driven by their Muses!
Zeus originally created the Muses for entertaining the Gods, but eventually the Muses became the inspiration for mortal man. The word Muse implies that your thoughts or skills are elevated by a divine influence. For Mark and Judy, I would say the Muse that inspires them more than all the others, would be Euterpe, the goddess of Music. Her name translates to ’the giver of delight’.
When we first approached the photoshoot it was intended to be a stylish fashion shoot, but when Mark showed up with his guitar and some legendary rock outfits, we knew we had to theme this a Rock-n-Roll Fashion Shoot! They were right at home with the outfits, the makeup, and the whole vibe of the shoot, because really… that is THE REAL THEM.
Even though these two extraordinary humans are rockstars at heart, they are also very talented marketers and business owners. I’d like to say that they are entrepreneurs by day and rock stars by night, but that wouldn’t really be accurate because with their creativity, personality, and style, they bring the rock star spirit right into their daily work.
But amidst all that rock-n-roll and rebel attitude there was another layer of self, another REAL THEM. This is the version of them that is totally comfortable together, natural, and completely into each other.
So “YES” Mark and Judy, we can see the real you, and you are a muse-inspired Rock-n-Roll love story! Thank you for all the laughs and inspiration.
